SPARK Workshop Summer 2024

This workshop is a powerful example of the transformative power of the group learning experience.  In the first of four workshops with each new group of parents, I ask parents to share a bit about their families, including the challenges and strengths in their family’s dynamic.  As this workshop has been developed for parents of anxious, reactive and “out-of-control” kids and teens, parents typically begin sharing what they think are their own personal failures; they share all the challenges of parenting when one or more of their kids have “out-of-control” behaviors much of the time.  As parents listen, the surprise and relief they feel, hearing these stories and realizing that others have the same challenges, is quite visible in the room.  After the first brave parent shares their story, others are eager to join in the conversation with support and empathy for parents with frustrating experiences, and then the problem solving and strategy development begins!  

Parents have opportunities over these four workshops to create and practice parenting response and family structures that will work with their unique family!  Throughout the SPARK! Program, parents review home scenarios, explore proven parenting strategies, practice these strategies at home with their families, and share the trials and tribulations of parenting in a safe and growth-focused environment!

This is a LIVE via Zoom 4 session class. Our head coach Denise Leville will lead each session as you learn strategies that work for your children! There will be time for questions, feedback, and developing strategies for your specific family.

Classes are kept very small so each parent/family is able to work with Denise to develop their own strategies.

This does mean that classes fill up fast, so please reach out with any questions so you don’t miss out on this opportunity!
